Project Overview
As a freelance Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at MeteorOps, you’ll work with top companies to enhance the reliability, scalability, and performance of their infrastructure, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Projects Include:
- Monitoring & Alerting: Implementing and managing monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure system health and alert on issues proactively.
- Infrastructure Automation: Utilizing tools like Terraform and Ansible to automate infrastructure management and scaling.
- Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Managing incident response to quickly diagnose and resolve outages, minimizing downtime.
- Performance Optimization: Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks to improve system efficiency and stability.
Requirements and Skills
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in SRE, DevOps, or a related field focused on system reliability.
Technical Skills:
- Monitoring & Alerting: Proficiency with Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
- Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation tools.
- Containerization: Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for managing containerized applications.
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby for automation.
