What you'll do

  • Sync with the manager to ensure the hands-on engineer has everything needed
  • Hold engineers accountable for high-quality delivery
  • Quickly learn new technologies per client and provide added value to engineers and clients
  • Occasionally join meetings with engineers and clients
  • Participate in Slack channel discussions to offer additional context and enrich the conversation
  • Ensure client messages are promptly addressed by engineers
  • Monitor high-priority or production issues and ensure a quick response
  • Provide hands-on support to engineers and clients as needed
  • Identify and remove blockers that hinder progress
  • Ensure the project鈥檚 pace aligns with estimations
  • Review project hours at the end of each month before submission to the client
  • Architect, provision, and maintain scalable production environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
  • Ensure high availability and performance for production environments
  • Establish robust monitoring for infrastructure and applications, including metrics, logs, and traces
  • Design and oversee the architecture of end-to-end cloud environments
  • Champion security improvements by architecting secure cloud environments and implementing access management solutions
  • What we're looking for

  • Proven leadership experience and strong communication skills in DevOps or related fields
  • Strong programming expertise in at least one language (Python, Ruby, Go, Rust, Java, JavaScript)
  • In-depth knowledge of the Linux operating system, including processes, daemons, bash scripting, networking, and storage management
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing complex software architectures within major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Hands-on expertise in provisioning high-scale infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation)
  • Solid experience managing and maintaining orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Nomad, Mesos) in production environments
  • Proven ability to implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or CodePipeline
  • Strong knowledge of security practices, including VPC architecture, RBAC implementation, and access restrictions management

    We offer hourly contracts and you get paid for the hours worked every month.
