Our mission is to enable companies to build great software freely, with MeteorOps as their competitive edge.Our purpose is to help organizations focus on building products while we turn their software-building capabilities into a strategic advantage. We believe every organization should have the freedom to innovate without limitations, supported by an optimized DevOps infrastructure.With a team of only 50 people, we’ve achieved sustainable growth over the past five years, and now it’s time to invite one more strategic role on board.We envision the DevOps Solutions Architect as a person who can become the go-to strategic partner for clients who want to scale with confidence.We expect you to be involved in pre-sales, solution architecture (50%), and account management activities (50%) on a full-time basis.

What you'll do

Over time, you will become a strategic consultant for both existing and new clients—able to build strong relationships, balance both the client and company perspectives, and bring excellent technical expertise when needed.We expect you to act proactively and strategically in the following fields:

Client Success & Account Management
Solutions Architecture
Internal Coordination
Relationship Building

We will introduce you to the company structure, processes, and needs. We will explain our Whys and Whats. You will join calls with our leads and current clients to get a glimpse of our Hows, and then reflect together on the What Ifs.

What we're looking for

Technical

Strong DevOps engineering background (cloud, K8s, CI/CD, IaC, monitoring, security)
Experience designing architectures and presenting system diagrams
Ability to perform deep technical discovery and gap analysis
Comfortable writing clear technical documents and plans
Optional but valuable: freelance consulting or prior solutions architecture experience

Interpersonal / Leadership

Exceptional communication skills
Ability to build trust quickly and deeply
Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
Confidence to lead client conversations and ask challenging questions
Ability to give clear, structured advice that simplifies complex issues

Since this is a remote role, the working hours are flexible. The work model in some cases could be hourly-based, and in other cases project-based.

How is the payment structured?

We offer hourly contracts and you get paid for the hours worked every month.

Is there potential for long-term collaboration?

Absolutely! Most of our engineers stay with us long-term. Even after a project concludes, we usually have new opportunities available, allowing us to continue our collaboration.
